information we collect
amverd collects the profile details you choose to add (your name, bio, pronouns, taste picks, photos, and the preferences you set), along with basic device and usage data needed to keep the app running reliably. we use posthog to record app usage events and crash reports tied to your account, so we can understand which features are used and fix problems. amverd doesn't show ads and doesn't track you across other companies' apps or websites; if that ever changes, we'll update this policy first and ask for your permission where required. if you subscribe to amverd pro, apple or google handle your payment details directly. amverd and our subscription provider (revenuecat) never see your card number, only your subscription status.
how we use it
we use your information to display your profile to the people you share it with, personalize recommendations, and improve the features you use most. we do not sell your personal data. if you report a pick (for example as undisclosed ai-generated or stolen work), we keep a record of that report (including which pick and your account) strictly for reviewing it; reports are never shown to other users.
sharing
profile content you mark as public is visible to other users. we share limited data with our hosting and infrastructure provider, our analytics provider (posthog), and, for amverd pro subscribers, our subscription management provider (revenuecat), strictly to operate and improve amverd, under confidentiality obligations. if that changes further, we will update this policy first.
your choices
you can edit your profile information at any time from settings, request a copy of your data by emailing privacy@amverd.app, or close your account entirely from settings.
